Congratulations to Drs. Witting, Hayes and Schenkel along with two alumni, Dr Lantyr and Vashi on their recently published article in the Journal of Emergency Medicine titled "Emergency Department Medication History Taking: Current Inefficiency and Potential for a Self-Administered Form" The abstract can be found at http://www.jem-journal.com/article/S0736-4679(13)00103-0/abstract

R. Gentry Wilkerson, MD, Ken Butler, DO, and Michael Witting, MD, MS, co-authored a letter to the editor that was published in the June issue of the American Journal of Emergency Medicine. Their letter is a response to an article in the October 2012 issue of the journal, in which Dr. David King and colleagues discussed the training of surgery and emergency medicine residents in the performance of cricothyroidotomy.

Michael C. Bond, MD, co-authored the article titled “Increasing Faculty Attendance at Emergency Medicine Resident Conferences: Does CME Credit Make a Difference?,” which was published in the March issue of The Journal of Graduate Medical Education.

Terry Mulligan, DO, MPH, in collaboration with colleagues from Netherlands and Australia, published an article in the June issue of Injury, comparing the mechanisms and types of injury sustained by adults in bicycle crashes in those two countries.
