Three weeks of vacation per year are incorporated into each resident's block schedule.
CCU = Coronary Care Unit, University of Maryland Medical Center '
Mercy = Mercy Medical Center
NICU = Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, University of Maryland Medical Center
PICU = Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, University of Maryland Medical Center
UMMS = University of Maryland Medical Center
VA = Baltimore Veterans Affairs Medical Center
Trauma = R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center
PG = Prince George’s County Hospital
1 = UMMS PED or DC Children’s PED
2 = Call free
Locations include the University of Maryland, Mercy Medical Center, and the Veterans Administration Medical Center.
Locations include the University of Maryland Pediatric Emergency Department, and Children's National Medical Center in Washington DC.
Residents spend 4 months at the Famous Unversity of Maryland Shock Trauma Center. Hope you like pink scrubs.
Rotations include general OR time at Mercy Medical Center and Trauma Anesthesiology at the Shock Trauma Center.
