Shadowing Opportunities
The Department of Emergency Medicine and the Division of Prehospital and Disaster Medicine welcomes students interested in gaining additional information about emergency medicine and emergency medical services (EMS). The adult emergency department is a busy clinical area, and shadowing opportunities depend upon the availability of instructors. In addition, observers must abide by current polices related to patient confidentiality, security, and dress code. Observers must obtain an official hospital identification badge and complete on-line training prior to visiting the emergency department. Please contact
