• Traumatic iritis physical exam findings may include miosis with cilliary flush, CONSENSUAL PHOTOPHOBIA. Treatment is cycloplegics I.e. cyclopentolate +/- topical steroids and follow up with ophtho • Carbonic anhydrase inhibitors should be avoided in sickle cell patients with hyphema as the decrease in pH results in increased RBC sickling. • TTP: abnormal often idiopathic fibrin and platelet deposition. Diagnosis is suggested by schistocytes seen on peripheral smear. Treatment: Plasma exchange. Avoid platelet transfusion
