• Doxycycline is the treatment of choice for Lyme disease in all ages of except for Lyme carditis or meningoencephalitis where the treatment is 2g ceftriaxone IV. • Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever is a classic rash that goes to the palms and sole after starting on the wrists and ankles. • Smallpox rash is classically all the same phase as opposed to varicella which has lesions in various stages.
