Information
How to Feedback the Right Way
Shock trauma Auditorium
• Always positive or always negative feedback does not provide direction or allow learners to grow. • Learners need specific, non-judgemental feedback directed to specific actions in order to improve performance. • BOOST Feedback: balanced, objective, observed, specific, timely • If you haven't built an educational alliance with a learner, then the learner will likely not listen or consider the feedback worthwhile. Build that relationship first!
