Shock trauma Auditorium
- Diagnosis of pericarditis requires at least 2 of 4 diagnostic criteria: classic hx, classic ECG, friction rub, pericardial effusion. - STEMI, pericarditis/myocarditis, Benign early re-polarization are all causes of diffuse ST elevation. - 3 causes irregularly irregular tachycardia: atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter with variable conduction, multifocal atrial tachycardia. - Use PR interval to differentiate heart blocks. Growing PR = second degree type one, consistent PR = second degree type two, random PR = third degree.
