¬Review ocular anatomy and visual processing pathway ¬Recognize the difference between acute and subacute painless vision loss in terms of etiology and urgency. ¬Discuss the differential as it relates to the diagnostic approach and role of imaging in vision loss ¬Summarize current guidelines for management and role of emergent or urgent consultation vs. outpatient referral. ¬Consider non-ocular etiologies that contribute to painless vision loss
