Brandon Masi Parker DO Surgical Critical Care Fellow, R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center... I left sunny South Florida to attend University of Maryland Emergency Medicine Residency for its prestige in critical care and access to a population in need. My time at UMEM was second to none and full of great mentors and friends that helped me strengthen my desire to care for the most critically ill patients. I didn't want to go far so stayed in Baltimore for fellowship where I continue to enjoy my time at University of Maryland and the greater Baltimore area when I get out of the hospital. While in the hospital I focus on the care of critically ill surgical patients in the SICU, critically ill and injured patients in the trauma ICUs and the acute resuscitation of a variety of patients in the CCRU. While out of the hospital I love spending time with my daughter, wife and golden retriever around Fell's point.
1) insight to upstairs medicine 2) tips from my experience finding a job 3) defining opportunities in critical care
