1. Evaluate appropriate therapies to improve the chance of survival for patients suffering from cardiogenic shock. 2. Recognize which hypotensive heart failure patients will benefit from fluid resuscitation to improve perfusion to critical organs. 3. Develop a structural approach to inotropic and vasopressor use in patients with cardiogenic shock to optimize cardiac output and reduce complications.
