Myasthenia Graves (MG) is often associated with several, distinct clinical findings which patients may have during their crisis in the emergency department. These findings may include the following:
- Mask-like face
- Eyelid weakness
-- leads to ptosis
-- exacerbated by sustained upward gaze
-- improved by closing the eyes for a short while
- Extraocular motion abnormality
-- usually affects more than one extraocular muscle
