A Little About Me

I am originally from Westchester, NY (not upstate) and attended school at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC for both undergrad and medical school. I chose UMD for my emergency medicine residency because it really is a one-of-a-kind program. The educational opportunities from some of the most well-renowned faculty in emergency medicine are 2nd to none. Also, when I saw how the graduates from this program really go wherever they want; including top fellowships, top academic centers, and various community hospitals, I was sold. I am a big sports fan: Giants, Mets, Knicks, and Rangers and I also love to play sports. I have attended at least 1 Giants game a season since I was a kid.

I was skeptical about Baltimore after watching the Wire, but after visiting a few times I saw that there is a lot more to the city than Avon Barksdale's crew. The restaurants are great, the inner harbor is fun, and there are different festivals and events every weekend.
