Academic Activities and Responsibilities

Hi! I was born in Vietnam, raised in Memphis, went to college in Texas (therefore a Texan by proxy), now comfortably settled in Baltimore for my EM residency. I chose EM because I liked everything in medical school and I wanted to work in a unpredictable and challenging (but really fun) environment. I chose Maryland because it has an amazing EM program!

I'm a very happy-go-lucky person who dreads writing these autobiographies. Since I have to, I'll share the most important things about myself. I love sweets and I am addicted to coffee. I like people. I love everyone at Maryland, EM and nonEM alike! I make really bad jokes that don't always make sense and I like corny jokes in general. I have a lot of hobbies and interests, but ever since intern year started, my favorite thing to do when I'm not working is to sleep. Intern year has been quite an adjustment but it's been really great! I'm having a blast! (I like exclamation points!)

Please feel free to email me any questions and/or concerns! I can also host interviewees!
