Our goal: We provide administrative and leadership training for physicians interested in holding administrative positions and encourage continuing administrative education for those who already hold leadership positions.

Who we are looking for: Physicians coming to Crashing Patient who are interested in adding an administrative piece to their experience.  You are welcome if you are:

  • Looking to transition your career in an administrative direction.

  • Advancing on the administrative ladder.

  • Trying to figure out if you might be interested in administration.

  • Just want to hang out with cool people who have a bit of a different take on Emergency Medicine.

What you’ll learn: We can’t cover all of Emergency Medicine administration in a single morning, so this will be a bit of a “best of.”  Potential topics include:

  • Staffing the emergency department.

  • Documentation and risk management.

  • Recruiting and retention.

  • Coding.

  • Patient complaints.
