Our goal: We provide administrative and leadership training for physicians interested in holding administrative positions and encourage continuing administrative education for those who already hold leadership positions.
Who we are looking for: Physicians coming to Crashing Patient who are interested in adding an administrative piece to their experience. You are welcome if you are:
Looking to transition your career in an administrative direction.
Advancing on the administrative ladder.
Trying to figure out if you might be interested in administration.
Just want to hang out with cool people who have a bit of a different take on Emergency Medicine.
What you’ll learn: We can’t cover all of Emergency Medicine administration in a single morning, so this will be a bit of a “best of.” Potential topics include:
Staffing the emergency department.
Documentation and risk management.
Recruiting and retention.
Coding.
Patient complaints.
