Title: AN ED BASED SURVEY TO ASSESS PATIENTS’ ACCESS TO MASKS AND THE ACCEPTABILITY OF COVID-19 VACCINES IN THE ED: INFORMING A PROGRAM TO PROTECT VULNERABLE POPULATIONS FROM COVID-19 IN THE ED

The overall goal of this study is to inform and prepare for a national, ED-based program that would provide vulnerable groups the other two COVID-19 prevention measures – masks and future COVID-19 immunization.
Using time-block sampling techniques (4 hour blocks), we will survey all adult patients to presenting to the ED and other sites with the following exclusions: 1) major trauma; 2) inability to participate in an interview because of intoxication, altered mental status, or critical illness; 3) incration;arce and 4) psychiatric hold.
