A Little About Me

Hey my name is Tej, I come from Miami, FL where I lived pretty much most of my life. I majored in Chemistry at Florida International University and finished medical school at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine. My interest in Emergency Medicine stems from my experience as a Scribe working at Baptist Hospital.

UMEM is incredible and I am grateful to train at one of the top EM programs in the nation! The opportunity to learn and work under the top leaders of Emergency Medicine is an absolute privilege. The emphasis on education and challenging residents to become future leaders of this profession is what drew me to this program.

I am a huge sports fan and you can usually find me on the basketball courts on my free time. Yes, I am a Miami Heat fan. I enjoy live music, trying new restaurants, and bars in Charm City. If you have any questions or any osteopathic students interested in University of Maryland Emergency Medicine please feel free to contact me.
